We teach architectural design at the master program at HSLU Hochschule Luzern. We are interested in relevant problems facing society and in raising the students' awareness of and responsibility for our environment. Notions of structure are our companions at all levels of architecture and throughout the entire design process. Structure stands for order and rationality in architecture. By means of structured thinking and design, we develop strategies to understand. process and master complex problems. We motivate students to go their own way and to question their personal architectural interests in order to develop and consolidate an individual and consistent attitude as an architect.
